Just A Few Updates

Hi everyone! I just wanted to fill you in on a few updates:

Our living room progress is coming along nicely. Also slowly but definitely worth the time. We have to paint the trim, touch up the fireplace & a few spots on the ceiling and replace outlet covers. I am so excited to share the progress with you maybe...next Tuesday? My fingers are crossed.

I was finally able to get our Facebook group created so make sure you search for Always Willow and request to be added. It's mainly to share your own plant babies, experiences, advice, and maybe even swap some cuttings with each other. Speaking of cuttings, I have a ton that has rooted and is ready for soil. I asked if you all wanted a live video in the group and the majority voted yes. I plan to pot them on Thursday so make sure you are added to the group before then.

Here is what I have to pot:

Scinapsis Pictus Argyaeus

Brasil Philodendron (It survived!!! not pictured)

Tradescantia Zebrina

Dracaena Marginata

NJoy Pothos (Or Pearls & Jade-more on that in the live video chat)

Schefflera Arboricola (not pictured)

Our garden has really taken off. We picked a few peppers & cucumbers this week & they were so yummy! We plan to pickle our cucumbers and hot peppers. We also have three jalapeno bushes so we will be freezing a lot of those for chili this fall and winter.

Our cherry tomato plant that is potted on our porch is producing regularly too. Zach has never been into tomatoes until this year and I've already decided we will have two next year on the porch. Unfortunately, the rest of our potted porch plants did not fair out. We had a visitor come and destroy them one night. It was heartbreaking. I'm just glad the raccoon didn't like tomatoes.

I've been keeping up with a lot of you on social media and your gardens are doing amazing! What has been your favorite harvest so far & why? Share your comments on Instagram @always_willow or in our Facebook group & don't forget to subscribe. I can't wait to hear from you!

Always, Erikka
